Detroit Lions: Week 1 Fantasy Football reaction

The Detroit Lions kicked off their regular season Sunday at Ford Field, and did so in style, by defeating the Arizona Cardinals 35-23. The Lions were led by strong performances from Matthew Stafford and, surprisingly enough, their defense.
The first week of fantasy football is always full of surprises and upsets. Lions players provided just that for fantasy football owners. Here is my instant fantasy analysis of the game this weekend and how to proceed moving forward with all of your Lions fantasy options.
Quarterback: Matthew Stafford
If you checked out my week 1 fantasy preview, which comes out on Wednesdays, then you would know that I was pretty high on Stafford this week. He did not disappoint. After throwing a pick six early in the game, Stafford was razor sharp the rest of the way. He found Marvin Jones, Theo Riddick and rookie receiver Kenny Golladay for red-zone touchdowns, and also connected with Golladay again for a 45-yard diving touchdown reception.
